FAQs

  • How do I know you keep my records Confidential?

Information you share with me will be kept in strictest confidence. This confidentiality will never be broken unless you either give me specific permission, I am compelled to do so by a Court of Law, or there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others. If there are serious concerns regarding yourself or someone else, I would always endeavour to discuss my concerns with you first and be open about any actions I feel I need to take. If, for any reason, I felt your safety was being compromised I may also need to contact your GP.

I fully observe GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), including the recording and secure storage of your information. Following our sessions, I will send by email a brief summary of our discussion for your reference. I will keep information for a minimum period of seven years after which all records will be destroyed

The session will usually last one hour and be arranged in advance by mutual agreement. The cost for each session varies for individuals, couples or family counselling. Fees are payable at the end of each session. Please see the page on My Rates for full details.

  • Do you have a Cancellation Policy?

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide me with a minimum of 24 hours notice or I will need to charge at least the cost of the room hire.
